Deepening China-Africa Vocational Education Cooperation
On June 10, 2025, Chairman Chen Jiquan of Yalong Group led a delegation to the Gusau Institute, an influential high-end think tank in Nigeria and West Africa, and visited General Aliyu Gusau Mohammed, the founder of the Gusau Institute and former Nigerian Defense Minister.
Witnessed by General Gusau, Yalong Group and Gusau Research Institute signed an MOU, and the two sides will cooperate to establish the "China-Africa Vocational Education and Training Center" in Kaduna. General Gusau mentioned that he attached great importance to the cooperation between the two sides and hoped that the training center would not only focus on the skills training of Nigerian youth, but also serve the skills training of African youth as a whole. The Gusau Institute would support the construction of facilities for the entire training center.

Yalong Group will work with domestic colleges and universities, Gusau Institute, Nigeria National Board for Technical Education and Kaduna Polytechnic to create a model for vocational skills training in Nigeria that will serve as an example. The "China-Africa Vocational Education and Training Center" aims to cultivate excellent local teaching staff and jointly develop curriculum standards and professional standards for the training of local skilled talents.
