Yalong Supports The 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition

The 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition 2025 was held in Manila, Philippines from August 26 to 28. Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

The ASEAN WorldSkills Competition is the highest-level vocational skills competition in the region. It is held every two years and aims to enhance the skills of young people and promote exchanges and cooperation among member states. This year's competition brought together 300 contestants from 11 ASEAN countries to compete in 32 skill events. The categories covered areas such as manufacturing and engineering technology, information and communication technology, architecture and construction technology, social and personal services, creative arts and fashion, and transportation and logistics. The contestants demonstrated precise workmanship and innovation, creating inspiring moments throughout the thrilling event. The outstanding performances attracted more than 20,000 spectators.

The 14th ASEAN Skills Competition held its closing ceremony on August 30, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.  Yalong Group demonstrated its extensive experience in supporting skills competitions by providing comprehensive services for the event. The organizer, the Philippine Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, awarded Yalong Group the title of Diamond Global Partner.

For the 14th ASEAN Skills Competition, Yalong provided the competition platforms and technical standards support for six events: Industrial Automation, CNC Maintenance, Internet of Things, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electronics, and Information Network Cabling.
